Police Sunday sought the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and motorist involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles.
The suspect’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on Manchester Avenue, making a left turn on Avalon Boulevard at about 6:15 p.m. Friday, when it hit another vehicle going westbound on Manchester, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The impact caused one of the vehicles to rotate counter-clockwise and strike two pedestrians. One of the pedestrians suffered minor injuries. Paramedics rushed the other victim to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The vehicle fled the scene. No description of the vehicle or the driver was provided.
