A 28-year-old woman was shot and killed and a 20-year-old man was wounded Tuesday in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles.
Officers were called at 3:24 a.m. to the area of Slauson and Western avenues in the Harvard Park neighborhood on reports of shots being fired, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Lizeth Lomeli.
Rickiya Fulcher, whose city of residence was unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 20-year-old man was taken to a hospital, Lomeli said.
The suspects left the scene in a vehicle. Police did not have a description of the vehicle.
Lomeli said the shooting was under investigation.
