A woman was shot and killed Tuesday and a male victim was wounded in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles.
Officers were called at 3:24 a.m. to the area of Slauson and Western avenues in the Harvard Park neighborhood of Los Angeles on reports of shots being fired, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Lizeth Lomeli.
The victim, a 25-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, Lomeli said, and a male victim, 20, was taken to a hospital.
Th suspects left the scene in a vehicle. Police described one suspect as a Black male. Police did not have a description of the vehicle.
Lomeli said the shooting is under investigation.
