A man was wounded Saturday when he was shot by someone who walked up to his parked car in the Florence area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 12:18 p.m. in the 300 block of West 79th Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madision.
The 43-year-old victim was taken by paramedics to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable, Madison said.
The suspect, possibly a 16-year-old male, fled on foot, the officer said.
