The coroner Saturday released the name of a man shot to death in Whittier.
Juan Iniguez Jr. was 23 years old and a Whittier resident, the coroner’s office said.
Officers were sent to the 12600 block of Camilla Street about 11:30 p.m. Thursday on a report of shots fired, according to the Whittier Police Department.
“Upon arrival, they found a male adult deceased from a gunshot wound,” police said in a statement. “Two other male adults were also struck by gunfire and were transported to the hospital in stable condition.”
