Police Tuesday are investigating a fatal shooting of a man in North Hollywood.
Police responded to a call of shots fired at 7:08 p.m. Monday in the 7000 block Huston Street and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, CBS 2 reported.
Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department said witnesses told police the suspect approached the victim, shot him and ran away from the scene.
The suspect was identified as a male Latino, according to Lomeli.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Lomeli said the investigation is ongoing.
