A man who was shot to death in the Cypress Park area of Los Angeles was identified Friday, and authorities continued their efforts to solve the crime.
The shooting occurred about 11:50 a.m. Sunday at Roseview and Cypress avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Cervando Flores, 29, who was homeless, died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. The suspect was described only as a man in his 70s, police said.
