A man was killed Monday morning in a multiple-vehicle crash on an on-ramp to the San Diego (405) Freeway in Culver City.
The crash was reported 2:50 a.m. on the Jefferson Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound San Diego Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
Witnesses told the CHP a big rig and two sedans were involved in the crash, the CHP said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Kravig.
A SigAlert was issued at 4:12 a.m. shutting down the Jefferson Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound San Diego Freeway. Traffic on the southbound freeway itself was not impacted by the closure, Kravig said.
