A 22-year-old man was killed in Mission Hills Thursday, allegedly by a man in his 20s who got out of his car, argued with the victim, then shot him.

The victim and a relative were walking on a sidewalk in the area of Chatsworth Street and Burnet Avenue about 12:55 p.m. when they were approached by a dark sedan, according to police.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he died of his wounds. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
