Three people arrested suspected of sex trafficking are out on bail Friday.
Mitza Anariba, 49 of La Puente, and 45-year-old Martha Cedillo and 36-year-old David Carreon, both from Ontario, were arrested on Wednesday in connection with an investigation into sex trafficking in the Jurupa Valley by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Anariba and Cedillo were taken into custody when a search warrant was served in the 8000 block of Limonite Avenue, where no victims of sex trafficking were found, according to Sgt. R. Armendariz.
The two were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of maintaining a brothel and solicitation of prostitution, but posted $5,000 bail on Thursday.
Jail records indicate they will make their initial court appearance at the Riverside Hall of Justice on March 30.
Carreon was arrested when deputies were conducting a “John” sting operation, where potential clients willing to pay for sex are contacted by authorities posing as prostitutes. Carreon was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution and posted $5,000 bail on Thursday.
Carreon is expected to make his initial court appearance at the Riverside Hall of Justice on March 7.
