Police Sunday sought the public’s help to locate a 66-year-old at-risk man who went missing in Hemet.

James Olivas was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at a care facility near Buena Vista Street and Johnston Avenue, according to the Hemet Police Department.

Olivas was described as 5-feet-11 inches tall and 260 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said he has trouble walking and left his wheelchair at the care facility but is believed to be on foot.

It is unknown what he was wearing when he went missing.

A Silver Alert was activated by the California Highway Patrol and anyone who sees Olivas was asked to call 911.
