Authorities Sunday were investigating the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man outside a Perris business.
Deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at 6:24 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of North Perris Boulevard and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, Xavier Porter of Perris, was pronounced dead at the scene and the case was being investigated as a murder, sheriff’s officials said.
There was no word on a motive or suspect in the shooting.
No arrests were reported.
