The California Highway Patrol canceled a Silver Alert late Sunday morning after a 66-year-old at-risk man who went missing in Hemet was found.
James Olivas had last been seen at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at a care facility near Buena Vista Street and Johnston Avenue, according to the Hemet Police Department.
Police announced that Olivas was found at 11:36 a.m. Sunday. No further details were released.
A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly, developmentally, or cognitively impaired person has gone missing and is determined to be at-risk to provide immediate information to the public to aid in the swift recovery of that person.
