County authorities Tuesday identified a man who was shot to death in Long Beach.
Abelardo Ramirez Bonilla, 46, was identified as the victim of the shooting, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The discovery of Bonilla’s body was made at about 9:25 p.m. Saturday in the area of 72nd Street and Atlantic Place, according to Long Beach Police Lt. Joe Flores.
Officers on patrol in Long Beach found Bonilla in a parked vehicle with gunshots wounds to the head.
Firefighters pronounced Bonilla dead at the scene and his death is classified as a homicide, according to the coroner.
No suspect information was available and the shooting is under investigation, Flores said.
