A man died Saturday after being struck by a Taser fired by Riverside County deputies at a Jurupa Valley business.

This assault suspect is the second man to die after being tased by deputies, according to the Press Enterprise.

The Taser was used around noon, when deputies responded to a report of a person attacking someone in a parked car in the 6000 block of Valley Way.

Shortly after the incident, paramedics were called to the scene and tried to save the man’s life. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Anyone with information on the incident was asked to call the District Attorney’s office at 951-955-2777.
