A Walnut woman was identified Monday as the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle in West Covina.
Jeanette Marquisee was 28 years old, according to the coroner’s office.
The crash was reported just before 6 a.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Valley Avenue, according to the West Covina Police Department.
Marquisee suffered serious head trauma and died at the scene, police said.
The vehicle’s driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers, police said.
