A 54-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to 32 months in prison for sexually assaulting two underage teenage boys in Buena Park and attempting to run over an officer while fleeing.

Casey Keith Moore, sexually assaulted one victim on Sept. 7, 2020, and another on Sept. 13, 2020, according to court records.

The ages of the victims were not released. When police went to arrest Moore, he fled and struck another vehicle while getting away, according to Sgt. Mario Escamilla of the Buena Park Police Department.

A warrant was issued for Moore’s arrest and investigators tracked him to Nye County, Nevada, but when sheriff’s deputies there attempted to take him into custody in December, he led them on a chase, Escamilla said.

Moore pleaded guilty Oct. 29, admitting to two counts of oral copulation of an underage victim and one count of reckless driving during a pursuit, all felonies, and misdemeanor counts of assault on a peace officer and hit and run with property damage, according to court records.
