Two people are in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision Saturday in Mead Valley.
Firefighters responded at 3:58 a.m. to Cajalco Road and Alexander Street where they found the collision, said the Riverside County Fire Department.
One person was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters using hydraulic measures.
Both victims were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The fire department is investigating the cause of the collision.
