Authorities Monday sought the public’s help to find a hit-and-run motorist responsible for fatally injuring a pedestrian the Koreatown area.
The 63-year-old man was injured about 10:45 p.m. Friday as he crossed Third Street east of Hobart Boulevard, and he died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
The car that hit him was described only as a white Honda. No description was available of the driver.
A standing reward of up to $50,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps authorities solve a fatal hit and run.
