A man who may be armed was barricaded in an apartment in a high-rise building in the downtown Los Angeles area Wednesday, authorities said.
Officers went to the building near 12th and Figueroa streets before 6 a.m. to serve a search warrant, and the man refused to come out of the residence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
No injuries have been reported.
