A man who died in Castaic was a resident of Redlands, authorities said Saturday.
Dean Dowling was 66 years old, according to the coroner’s office. An autopsy was pending to determine the cause of Dowling’s death.
Detectives were sent to the 31500 block of Castaic Road about 7:10 a.m Friday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
