West Hollywood sheriff’s deputies dispersed a crowd estimated at 1,000 people Sunday evening outside the Roxy Theater.

The call about the crowd that gathered at the Roxy, at 9009 Sunset Blvd., came in at 7:57 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner.

“It appears the venue oversold the event,” Koerner said. “Too many people and not enough tickets.”

CBS2 reported 22-year-old rapper Yeat was hosting a listening party at the Roxy. His major label debut “2 Aliv” was released Friday, when he tweeted “Numb*r 1 album inna world ITZ STUCK?????? #TR #2ALIV.”

No arrests were reported, Koerner said.
