Firefighters Monday knocked down an outside fire that spread to the attic of a two-story home in Hollywood, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 6:58 a.m. to 5813 W. Lexington Ave. had the blaze out within 13 minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
