Authorities Monday were attempting to arrest a woman who barricaded inside a residence in Lancaster.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a report of the woman barricaded in the area of 43700 block of Stanridge Avenue, near El Dorado Park, just after 6:35 p.m. Monday, though it was not immediately known what she was wanted for, according to Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Sheriff’s Enforcement Bureau and Crisis Negotiation Team units were sent to the scene to assist in taking the woman into custody. No further details were immediately available.
