Firefighters Saturday knocked down an outside rubbish fire that had extended into a one-story strip mall in the Arlington Heights community of Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 4:09 a.m. to 3337 W. Pico Blvd. had the flames out within 25 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
