A man shot to death outside the Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon was publicly identified Monday.
Sixty-six-year-old Michael Moser was a Palm Springs resident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The shooting took place about 7 p.m. Thursday outside the outlet mall in the 48600 block of Seminole Drive, according to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Ben Ramirez.
Deputies and paramedics responding to reports of a shooting found the victim now identified as Moser with a single gunshot wound, Ramirez said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Central Homicide Unit detectives continued to investigate the shooting.
