A man shot to death in Silver Lake was a transient, authorities said Saturday.
Kevin Young was 38 years old and the coroner’s office confirmed he died on a sidewalk from a gunshot wound to the head, the victim of homicide.
Officers were called at 4:37 a.m. Friday to Glendale Boulevard and Allesandro Street, where they found Young, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Madison said. There was no suspect information or known motive.
