A 4-year-old boy and a man were injured in a shooting on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Compton Tuesday.
The shooting occurred about 6 p.m. on the northbound Long Beach Freeway, just south of the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, when an occupant of an SUV produced a handgun and opened fire on the victims’ car, CBS2 reported.
The boy and the man were taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
The northbound Long Beach Freeway was closed near Alondra Boulevard as authorities investigated the shooting. No further details were immediately available.
