Firefighters battled a fire near multiple exposed buildings Thursday in North Hollywood.
Fire crews responded at 4:23 a.m. to 11005 W. Hesby St., a vacant one-story commercial building with heavy fire, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
