A 16-year-old girl who went missing in East Los Angeles has been found, authorities said Thursday.
Darresha Lee Childs was last seen at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 5100 block of East Sixth Street, west of Atlantic Boulevard near Garfield High School, and authorities sought the public’s help to find her.
On Thursday morning, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that she had been found. Other details were not released.
