Two 18-year-old convicted felons were arrested Saturday during a probation compliance check in Beaumont.
The Riverside County sheriff Gang Task Force made the arrests at 4:30 p.m. at a residence in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Heard.
“During the compliance check, Gang Task Force Officers located two loaded semi-automatic handguns, an illegal switchblade and illegal narcotics,” Heard said.
Marco Valenzuela and Alexander Ramirez, both of Beaumont were arrested for suspicion of being felons in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a firearm with a controlled substance, possession of a switchblade and probation violations.
