Fire damaged a duplex in Boyle Heights Wednesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 100 block of North Fickett Street at 12:54 p.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 27 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause was under investigation.
