Firefighters knocked down a blaze at a vacant home near the Pico-Robertson area Saturday, which was also the site of a previous burn, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:38 a.m. to 1532 S. Hi Point St. had the fire out within 20 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
“Firefighters used forcible entry operations to overcome previous security measures,” said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “Nearby buildings were spared and no injures were reported.”
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
