A man was hit by a car and a Metro bus and was killed in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles, and police Friday were searching for one of the drivers.
The man was injured about 10:10 p.m. Thursday at Vermont Avenue and Pico Boulevard and died at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to administer aid, but the man died of his wounds at the scene. Information on the man’s identity was not immediately available.
According to police, the man was hit by a white sedan that was southbound on Vermont. The force of the collision caused the man to fall onto the roadway, and then he was hit by the bus.
