The southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in Burbank was shut down for an hour in a multiple-vehicle crash that injured several people, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported at 10:22 p.m. Sunday on the southbound Golden State Freeway just north of Alameda Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Six vehicles were involved in the crash and blocked lanes, the CHP said.
Up to nine people were injured and taken to hospitals, including children, according to myBurbank News.
