A motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in La Mirada, authorities said Saturday.
Two drivers were arrested or cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended or revoked license during the checkpoint at Santa Gertrudes Avenue and Silvergrove Drive, that began at 6 p.m. Friday, ending Saturday at 2 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Norwalk station reported.
Another driver was charged with willfully failing or refusing to comply with a lawful order. Authorities said 375 vehicles were contacted at the checkpoint.
