One Dead, Three Injured in Fall from Cliff in Ranch Palos Verdes

One person was killed and three were injured Monday morning in a fall from a cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The incident was reported at 4:42 a.m. in the 1400 block of Paseo Del Mar, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Martin Rangel.

Fire department helicopters were in use to rescue the victims from the cliff, Rangel said.

One victim died at the scene.
