One person was killed Friday evening in a one-vehicle crash in the unincorporated community of Lakeview.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at around 8:03 p.m. to Fifth Street and Yucca Avenue and discovered an off-road vehicle overturned on the side of the road, according to the CHP.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
