A man was shot and killed Thursday in the Lincoln Heights area, and an investigation was underway.
Officers were sent to South Avenue 18 and Pasadena Avenue shortly after 3 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the wounded man, who died at the scene.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was released. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
