A motorist was arrested on suspicion of multiple felony firearm charges during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Norwalk, authorities said Saturday.
The checkpoint at Alondra Boulevard and Longworth Avenue began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
Five motorists were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license and 551 vehicles were contacted at the checkpoint.
