A person was hit by train in Jurupa Valley but suffered only moderate injuries.
The accident happened at the intersection of Jurupa Road and Van Buren Boulevard and was reported at 7:11 p.m., according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
There was no immediate word on the gender or age of the victim.
