A fire damaged an apartment building in Santa Monica Tuesday.
Firefighters sent to the 100 block of Alta Avenue shortly before 9 a.m. extinguished the flames in about 30 minutes, the Santa Monica Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
