Firefighters knocked down a fire in Glassell Park Saturday that destroyed one of three buildings and damaged a second one.
The blaze at 2603 W. Crestmoore Place was reported at 9:50 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
The department dispatched 35 firefighters to the scene and they extinguished the flames in 21 minutes, she said.
Firefighters were investigating unconfirmed reports of a possible victim inside the house, Stewart said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
