A man was robbed of his cell phone and shot Wednesday in Hollywood, and police sought the public’s help to find the culprit.
The crime occurred around 3 a.m. at McCadden Place and Sunset Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was found with a gunshot wound a short distance away in the 1000 block of North Highland Avenue, and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, police said.
The gunman was described as a man about 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He fled in a black SUV.
