A structure fire north of Lake Elsinore spread to at least seven acres of surrounding vegetation Saturday, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported at 11:50 a.m. at El Toro and Lindell roads in an unincorporated area, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Fire officials did not specify what type of structure caught on fire.

Firefighters with the Murrieta Fire Department and the Bureau of Land Management were at the scene assisting county fire crews with mop up.

Southern California Edison was also responding to assist with downed power lines.
