A man was killed in a shooting early Thursday in Palmdale.
Deputies responded at 12:14 a.m. to the 1000 block of East Avenue R where they found the victim with gunshot wounds, sheriff’s Deputy Alejandra Parra said.
The man, in his 20s, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the sheriff’s department. His name was not immediately released.
