Firefighters battled a half-acre vegetation fire in Winchester Saturday.
The blaze ignited in grass near Grand Avenue and Leon Road around 2:55 p.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters stopped the fire from spreading by 3:30 p.m. and were working on containment.
There were no structures said to be threatened and no injuries reported.
