Firefighters knocked down a fire outside a two-story commercial building Saturday in Studio City.
Fire crews were called at 1:40 a.m. to 12250 W. Ventura Blvd. between Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Colfax Avenue where they found flames and smoke inside the building’s attic and fire in the subfloor between the two floors, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
It took 40 firefighters to extinguish the flames in one hour and six minutes.
No injuries were reported.
