A 56-year-old man who suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old went missing Saturday and police asked the public for help finding him.
Thomas Schumacher was last seen around 4 a.m. in the 200 block of East Adams Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He is described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches, about 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is a smoker who uses a wheelchair and was wearing a navy blue jacket.
Anyone with information on Schumacher’s whereabouts was asked to call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800, 1-877-LAPD-24-7 after hours or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
