The man was found by motel housekeeping staff who entered the room to clean it, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded around noon to the motel in the 200 block of East Palmdale Boulevard, near Second Street East, regarding a medical rescue call. The man was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
